Blood donation camps commemorate the birthday of Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy in Khammam district

Blood donation camps for thalassemia patients and annadanam programs were the birthday celebrations of Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy organized by Congress cadres and supporters in Khammam, Kusumanchi and other parts of the erstwhile undivided Khammam district on Wednesday.

Around 230 people donated blood at camps in Khammam and Kusumanchi, followed by annadanam programmes, a press release said.

Meanwhile, Mr. Srinivasa Reddy reviewed the situation in the erstwhile Khammam district, particularly in the mandals bordering Andhra Pradesh, in view of Cyclone Arnab.

He spoke to Khammam Collector Divakara TS and Bhadradri Kothagud Collector Ankit over phone from Hyderabad and asked officials to remain alert and take precautionary measures to ensure public safety in the wake of the cyclone.
