The alleged blocking of an ambulance bearing a person who needs emergency care in Vithura, the activists of the youth congress on Saturday caused extensive criticism about the appropriate performances of enemy protest demonstrations at the premises of the health institutions.
It also caused concerns about the need to maintain hospitals and vehicles for reaction to emergencies regardless of political coercement.
The incident occurred on Saturday, when the Vithur Taluk Hospital was a medical college at Thiruvananthapuram because it needed emergency care in the tertiary center, which was in critical state after tertiary care, transported from the Vithur Taluk Hospital to Thiruvananthapuram, who needed emergency care in critical condition.
Congress staff who protested in the hospital about using old and dangerous vehicles without insurance for the transport of patients allegedly siege an ambulance carrying the bin.
The patient’s relatives later complained that the protest and blockade of the ambulance caused at least half an hour to reach the bin to the emergency wing of the medical college, where it was declared dead shortly after acceptance.
Although the activists of the congress for youth denied lifting the ambulance and claimed that their protest was legitimate and lasted only a few minutes, the incident caused strong reactions from many neighborhoods.
Vithura Taluk, a medical officer, filed a complaint against the police against those who created obstacles to the transport of the patient, after the police registered the case against 10 congresses for deliberate ambulance, which allegedly led to the death of a person.
The Association of Government Medical Officers Keral condemned the incident on Monday. He said that healthcare professionals were angry and traumatized that they were prevented from fulfilling their duty by a group of political activists and that man’s life was lost in the confusion he followed.
Outsiders exceeding the premises of the medical institution, intimidation of healthcare professionals and disruption of their work are offenses that cannot be released, said the KGMOA district unit. He said it would register complaints with the police and the district collector
Minister of Health Veen George promised strong steps against those who are responsible for the patient’s death. She also questioned the claims of the Congress activists for the youth that the ambulance lacked insurance coverage.
The reaction of the general Minister of Education V. Sivankutty was also similar. While he promised strong steps against those responsible for the incident, he pointed out that the behavior of youth congressmen did not take place the behavior of responsible political clothing and that he should not try to save someone’s life.
The Indian Federation of Democratic Youth in India (Dyfi) condemned the incident and demanded that the murder accusations deal with congress workers involved in protest.
However, the leader of the KS Congress Sabarinathan said in the FB paper that the reports reported that the patient died after the agitation of the Congress staff, the lie that CPI (m) promoted to serve their harmful goals. He said he was following several public complaints about the driving situation in which an ambulance at Vithura Taluk was maintained, forcing congressmen to organize a protest.
“It was unfortunate that the protest demonstration arrived at the hospital at about the same time as the tribal youth was brought. No.
