The fast-track business company announced on Thursday that Blinkit will launch a 10-minute Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance service in India. The service was originally offered in Gurugram, which runs five ambulances in the city. They will be equipped with basic life support recruitment, including oxygen cylinders and automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Each BLS ambulance will have a paramedic, assistant and trained driver, first to provide medical services.

Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa announced the start of the BLS ambulance service in a post on X (formerly Twitter). According to officials’ rules, the Rapid Business Company aims to address the problem of fast and reliable ambulance services in Indian cities. Although currently only available in Gurugram, Blinkit aims to extend this service to other cities, and users will soon see the option to book a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance through the Blinkit app. According to the CEO, it is currently in the expansion phase and will expand to all major cities in the next two years.

Each ambulance is equipped with oxygen cylinders, AEDs, stretchers, monitors, suction machines, as well as necessary emergency medications and injections. To provide critical medical services, the BLS ambulance has a paramedic, assistant and trained driver.
However, the company stressed that it will not target financial targets through its ambulance services. It will operate at affordable customer costs, and in the long run, Blinkit aims to address this critical issue.
This is based on several quick services the company has provided in recent months. In 2024, it started 10 minutes of products like the iPhone 16, Samsung Galaxy S24, PlayStation 5, and Gold and Silver Coins. In addition, it has also caused a sensation by expanding its services to more regions such as Hisar, Jammu, Lonavala and Raipur.
When purchasing Blinkit, customers can now also choose to pay in installments using the recently added EMI option.
