Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was trying to bills relating to women’s reservation, delimitation and augmentation of constituencies were aimed at indirectly changing the constitutional framework and undermining the reservation policy.
Addressing a press conference at his official residence in Delhi on Saturday (April 18, 2026), the Chief Minister said that the BJP had entered the 2024 general elections with the slogan of securing more than 400 seats to get the two-thirds majority needed to amend the constitution and abolish reservations.
