BJP working president Nitin Nabin met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (December 19, 2025), days after he assumed the new charge.
“I met BJP National Working President Shri Nitin Nabin Ji. Congratulated him on his new responsibility and wished him the best in his efforts to strengthen the party at the grassroots level,” Mr Modi said in a post on X.
“I am confident that his organizational and administrative experience will be an asset to our party as we all work together to fulfill the aspirations of the people,” the prime minister said.
In a post on X, Mr Nabin said it was “a great privilege and a valuable learning experience” for him to hear the Prime Minister share his insights.
“His leadership will always be a source of inspiration for me. I express my gratitude to him for that.
“On this occasion, I presented to the Hon’ble Prime Minister a painting made using the traditional sikki art of Bihar, a symbol of the state’s rich cultural heritage, and a scarf decorated with Madhubani art on Bhagalpuri silk,” said Mr. Nabin.
Mr Nabin, 45, was appointed BJP working president on December 14, marking a generational shift in the party. He assumed the charge on December 15.
