Bharatiya Janata Party Andhra Pradesh president PVN Madhav on Saturday unveiled the poster for the national Ekatma Manav Darshan rally to be held on January 23 and 24 at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada.
Addressing the media, Mr. Madhav said that the objective of the convention is to re-examine and re-interpret the philosophy of Ekatma Manav Darshan propounded by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya in the context of contemporary challenges.
Recalling that the Ekatma Manav Darshan program was held in Vijayawada in January 1965, Mr. Madhav said that Deendayal Upadhyaya emphasized the need for holistic and integrated thinking to solve social problems. He explained that Ekatma means understanding systems in their entirety and ensuring harmony among all components for effective governance and national progress. He added that decisions taken with comprehensive thinking and actions taken with purity of thought, word and deed will lead to success.
Mr. Madhav said that Indian philosophical thought as envisioned by Deendayal Upadhyaya is connected to all aspects of life and is focused on human happiness. He noted that the philosophy of Ekatma Manav Darshan has gained worldwide recognition and contemporary relevance. The convention will commemorate the historic resolution of 1965 while also reviewing the importance of ideology in addressing contemporary challenges.
He said the convention will address political, cultural and economic dimensions, decentralized development, India’s security, sustainable development goals, current applications and future action plans. The place was named Krishnadevaraya Nagar on the occasion of the coronation day of Sri Krishnadevaraya on January 23, 1510. An exhibition highlighting the achievements of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be organized.
Union ministers, BJP leaders and Sangh functionaries including BL Santhosh, Shiv Prakash, Arjun Ram Meghwal, G Kishan Reddy, Ram Madhav and Murali Dhar Rao are expected to attend. Video messages from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other key leaders will be screened. BJP leaders from Telangana were also invited.
