The executives and staff of Bharatiya Janta (BJP) on Thursday (March 27, 2025) presented a demonstration through “Hall Bol” in Šimle against the government of the Himachal Pradesh Congress of what they claimed as a prevalence of “mafia rai” in the state. Congress called the rally, which took place during the ongoing budget meeting of the State Assembly, as a futile attempt to distract attention from issues of public importance.
The score of the BJP workers led by the leaders of the state, including the former main Minister Jairam Thakura and the Party of the Party Rajeev Bindal, gathered in the Chaura Maidan area near the State Assembly and increased the slogans against the state government. Mr. Thakur said that the demonstration is against the unsuccessful politicians of the congress government.
He said that corrupt elements receive sponsorship under the current government, and “Mafia Raj” flourished in the state, whether it is surrounding the soil, forest, liqueur or drugs.
Narnesh Chauhan, the main advisor (media) on the main minister, responded to the BJP rally, said he showed the party’s tendency to chaos, disruption and anarchy.
“The Assembly provides sufficient time and legitimate platform for serious negotiations on public interests. Instead of actively participating in legislative proceedings, the opposition decided to boycott the session and create the atmosphere of unrest and absolute chaos outside the assembly outside the assembly.”
He takes Jibe on opposition and said that “Mafia Raj” that BJP is talking about, he actually flourished during his (BJP) holding. “Since the Congress Government entered the office, the mafia has been pushed on the edges and will now escape due to strict legal acts,” he added.
