BJP MLC Soma Veerraju calls for adoption of handwoven products to support rural artisans

BJP Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Somu Veerraju on Friday urged people to adopt handloom products to promote rural artisans during the ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign at Katheru on the outskirts of Rajamahendravaram. East Godavari BJP district president Pikki Nagendra and other BJP leaders distributed sarees woven by Katheru handloom weavers. Mr. Veerraju said in the report that people should promote handloom products to provide livelihood opportunities to local people.
