Telelangan BJP leaders welcomed the “historical decision” of Modi’s government to include a list of castes in the upcoming national census.
“This courageous and transparent move is a significant step towards social justice, informed politics and strengthening the Indian social structure,” said Rajya Sabha, and the National President of the Morcha on Wednesday.
He stated in a press release that the last comprehensive caste census in India conducted the British government in 1931. Since then, with the exception of data on planned castles and planned tribes, no official caste list has occurred at national level. The absence of accurate data was hampered by the formulation and implementation of social security policies for other back grades (OVC) and other marginalized communities, he said.
In a separate statement, the Minister of the Union for Home and MP Karimnagar Bandi Sanjay Kumar, thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government for this “courageous and courageous step”. This decision will be extremely beneficial for the people of the nation as a scientific and accurate census of each caste will be precisely noted that it is preparing a path for fair implementation without damaging the interests of any community. He appealed to all political parties, caste organizations, intellectuals and educators to increase this initiative over political interests.
The BJP leaders also criticized the Congress Party for the “hypocrisy” in the neglect of the census based on pastes when in power and for not choosing caste data collected through a private entity. The independence of the government led by Congress has never included castle data during the list of population and government, which some of the state governments, including telangans, lacked “transparency”.
These surveys were carried out for political gain, inflating the population of favorable castes and suppression of others, which led to the division and unrest in communities, accused. Other party leaders also welcomed the decision.
