Hanumanthu Udaya Bhaskar, a member of the state wing of the state feedback of the party Bharatiya Janat, asked the state government to increase security in all major temples such as Aravilli, Srikurmam, Srimukhalingam, Ravivalasa in Sricakulam. He emphasized the need to install a sufficient number of TV cameras with a closed circuit (CCTV) in places of worship with regard to the recent theft.
In a press release, he criticized the Department of the Foundation for the acceptance of an occasional approach in terms of security in temples despite many incidents in the state. He also emphasized the lack of cleanliness in the temple premises, especially after a great spiritual event. He urged daily hygiene and proper disposal of garbage daily, because there was no cleanliness in the temples, especially after large spiritual events.
Dr. Udaya Bhaskar urged SRIKAKULM collector Dinkar Pundkar to organize an audit meeting to deal with concerns related to temples and order the Panchayat department to expand the support and ensure cleanliness in all major temples in the district.
