BJP leader, who claimed he was traveling on the same Air India aircraft days before he collapsed in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, said on Friday that the plane “did not seem to be of proper maintenance”. He argued that the GPS was not working on the plane and the seats were not in the right condition when he flew on the plane “three days back” from Gatwick in London to Ahmedabad.
“There are many devices in the rest of the international airlines, but unfortunately we don’t see any of this in Air India. GPS didn’t work. There was no internal telecommunications service, the seats were damaged and the tables didn’t work properly … The flight was not properly maintenance …”
He said the name “Air India” has the word “India”, “which misses our country and is harmful.”
