Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday (June 28) described the BJP as a “factory of lies” and accused the party of deceiving people and undermining the Constitution and democratic values.
Reacting to a division-level awareness program on special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls organized by the Congress in Mysuru, Siddaramaiah alleged that the BJP had resorted to unethical means to gain and retain power.
“BJP is a factory of lies. It manufactures lies and propagates them until they are accepted as truth. It misleads people and has no faith in the Constitution or democratic values,” he said.
Accusing the BJP of pushing a centralized political agenda, Siddaramaiah said the party was working to introduce “One Nation, One Election”. “The BJP believes in dictatorship rather than democracy,” he said.
