The Andhra Pradesh BJP state unit celebrated the 77th Republic Day with patriotic fervor at its state headquarters in Vijayawada on Sunday. PVN party state president Madhav attended the function as the chief guest and unfurled the state flag.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Madhav greeted the people on Republic Day and paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for unifying the princely states of India and Dr. To BR Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.
Emphasizing the importance of the Constitution, he said it guarantees 22 fundamental rights to every citizen and stressed that national interest should always come first. He urged the people to imbibe the values of unity among all religions and communities and stressed that patriotism and nationalism were essential for the progress of the country.
Referring to India’s achievements in the defense sector, Mr. Madhav said the country has built a strong defense ecosystem, with 23% of defense production now being exported, reflecting India’s emergence as a technologically advanced country.
He also spoke about the party’s vision for 2047, reiterating the commitment to ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ and the goal of making India a leading nation across the world, emphasizing the importance of good governance and national pride.
