The Bharatiya party Janata announced a series of agitation throughout the state over the alleged theft of Sabarimal gold, accusing the state government and the Travancore Devaswom council for extensive corruption and covering.
On Tuesday, BJP Mt Ramesh said with the media in Thrissur that the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s silence in the case of theft of gold Sabarimal was “very suspicious”. “The court has already confirmed that gold was actually stolen. It was smuggled with the consent and by the Devaswom Council,” Ramesh said.
He argued that former presidents and Devaswom ministers were involved in an incorrect practice. “The inconsistencies began during E. Padmakumar and N. Vas.
Mr. Ramesh claimed that the same forces that had tried to “destroy” Sabarimal were gold for theft. “In 2018, the main minister himself attempted Sabarimal.
The BJP leader announced that the party would march to the residence of the main Minister Cliff House, 8 October, followed by a march at the level of district 9 and 10 October. “Then we will expand the protest to the level of Panchayat and eventually make the secretariat with the central point of our disturbance,” Mr. Ramesh said.
He argued that the money used for the so -called “Ayyapp Sangamam” was not the party fund CPI (M), but devoted contributions to the Devaswom Council. “CPI (m) abused funds of the temple to fill in their election cash registers. Every rupee offered will be charged,” he said.
