About 75 people, including 20 children, participated in a bird-watching program organized by the Gangothri unit of the Youth Hostel Association of India (YHAI) at Kukkarahalli lake in Mysuru on Sunday.
A bird watching program was organized in the presence of naturalist A. Shivaprakash.
A total of 63 species of birds, including two migratory ones, were spotted at the lake during the two-and-a-half hours between 7:00 and 9:30, the organizer said.
