Bande Saheba, the film Kannada inspired by the Real-Life incident in Kalaburagag, including a police officer who shaken the whole state, is ready to hit the screen of 16 May.
The director of the debutant Chinmay Ram, Bande Saheba is based on the life of the police sub-inspector MALLIKARJUN Bande, who lost his life during the operation to charge a notorious criminal in 2014. He has a story, screenplay and dialogue of Vioranna Koralli, who also worked in the film.
Chinmay Ram director addressed the press entities in Hubball and said they sincerely tried to capture the life of a policeman and a mystery surrounding his death in the fight against the weapon. He said it was a challenging job, and their team spent a lot of time in Kalaburagi talking to the people who worked with him, his family members, and more than they started filming the film.
Actor Santosh Ram, who played the lead role, said he and Vioranna Koralli spent two months in Kalaburagag to understand the nature of Mallikarjun Bande by talking to his companions and trying to justice his character.
The actor Kavya Bharadwaj, who plays the female leadership, said she sincerely tried to portray Bande’s wife.
The film team said they would share some of the income if the film made a profit. Gopanna explained that the film was not aimed at making money, but to present the life of a brave officer. Director Chinmay Ram said he had plans for a sequel if the film was well at the box office.
