The Indian Election Commission (ECI) on Tuesday (July 8, 2025) stated on Tuesday that the collection forms of the list for special intensive revision (Sir) of electoral roles in Bihar achieved almost half the mark, with 3,70 77 077 of 7,89,844 registered voters.
The last date of submission of the list forms is 25 July.
“Sir in Bihar proceeds well with 3.70 77,077 list, 46.95% of the total number of 7,89,69,844 (almost 7.90 crore) voters in Bihar, collected from 18:00 on Sir 24 June 2025,” ECI said in a statement.
In the first fourteen days of the exercise, approximately 7.90 crore forms and more than 97% – 7.70.44 990 forms were printed – it has already been distributed to voters. In addition, 18.16% of forms were recorded on Ecinet. “A large number of potential voters prefer to submit the list of enumerations together with the eligibility documents,” the statement noted.
“Pure election roles are inevitable to strengthen democracy,” said the main election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
The head official ECI said that in advance enumerations that contain details such as the name of the voter, the address and the old photographs were made available to each existing voter. Officers at the stand level (BLOS) visit every household at least three times to collect filled enumerations, ensuring that no eligible voter is omitted.
ECI said that 20,603 additional blocks were deployed on Earth and accelerated the collection process. In total, 77,895 BLO is involved in door to door to help the voters with the form. The first round of visits has been completed and the second round is currently underway.
The Commission reiterated that while the enumeration forms must be submitted until July 25, the eligibility documents may be submitted separately during the period of receivables and objections that end in September 1.

In addition to the process of submitting the form, the officials for registration of election registrations (EROS), who include all 243 constituents, 963 EROS assistants, 38 district election officials and the main state -of -the -art official, added ECI.
