Given that the Central Government on Wednesday (April 30, 2025) announced that the list would be part of the further census, the leaders in Bihar “welcomed” the step and thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modim for the “historical” decision. However, Rashtriya Janata’s opposition Dal (RJD) said it was one of the long -term requirements of the party, and “there was still a lot of work”.
In 2022, Bihar’s then Mahagathbandhan or Grand Alliance government that RJD was part of the state survey and published the results in October 2023. On the basis of the report, the government was increased to 65% of 50% in educational institutions and government jobs. Now in opposition, RJD focuses on the government for not including an increase in reservations about the ninth schedule of the Constitution.
