Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday (April 19, 2026) criticized the opposition for its refusal to support the amendment to the Women’s Reservation Act.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP office in Patna, Mr Choudhary said it was a “black day” when the Constitution Amendment Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha and “women’s reservation was mocked by parties like the Congress and the TMC”.
