The Bharatiya Janata Party Bihar unit (BJP) on Monday (June 30, 2025) organized the Pasmanda community ceremony, the day after the Muslim organization led by IMARAT-EHARIIH organized in Patny’s Gandhi Maidan to protest against the WAQF law.
President BJP Dilip Jaiswal, who attacked the opposition party, said in Bihar, politics had always been carried out on behalf of Muslims, but there was never a real effort to confine Passmand Muslims.
Before the elections of the Assembly Mr. Jaiswal assured that BJP would ensure the political representation of the Pasman. The conference on the connection was inaugurated by Mr. Jaiswal and the representative of the main Minister of Samrat Choudhary.
Among some of the most backward, as regards socio-economic indicators and seriously insufficiently represented in jobs, education and electoral policy, the Pasanda Muslims in Bihar represent over 72% of the State Muslim population and fall into the categories of Civil or EBC.
They include 29.9% of the extremely backward class (EBC) in Bihar and more than 12% of the entire population of the state – which makes them an important part of the BJP plans in the state to break the adhesion of Rashtriya Janata (RJD) over Muslim vote.
When addressing community members, Mr. Jaiswal said that the unique characteristic of BJP is its commitment to accept all religions, communities and parts of society.
“The party works with the slogan” Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas “. Although politics has been played for a long time in the name of Muslims, no real efforts have been made to increase the Pasman Muslim Muslims, ”Jaiswal said.
He argued that the term Pasman’s term means “those who stayed behind”, but no one tried to move forward and faced continuous discrimination.
“And most importantly, while they were often used in politics, they never got political representation,” he added.
Dr. Jaiswal claimed that voting policy had made the lives of Muslims of the Pasman unfortunate and the level of discrimination they faced several generations.
He praised the BJP and added that it was only after the government of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) came to power that they were extended.
Mr. Choudhary echoed the same and accused Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of using a Muslim voting bank for their own ascension rather than doing something for the community.
State President Morch Morch Mohammad Kamruzama Ansari and State Media, which is entrusted with Danish Iqbal and addressed the assembly, were also present.
During the solution of the assembly, Mr. IQball said that the Pasmana Muslims make up 70 to 80 percent of the total Muslim population, but remain backwards.
“It is a policy of voting that destroyed Muslims of Pasmand. Ironically, it is their own higher class that used them-it has never been openly discussed,” Pan. Said IQBAL.
He also said that even today the same rights are denied and are looking down.
“The whole part remains marginalized and discrimination has been so deeply rooted that it has never been able to proceed. Since the NDA government came to power both on Wednesday and Bihar, efforts to ensure their development in the spirit of” Saath, Sabka Vikas, “said. IQBAL.
A large number of individuals from the Pasmand community joined the BJP and Mr. Jaiswal welcomed them to the party by submitting the oath of membership.
The function was also paid by the BJP Minerity Morcha National Media Co-answered Noor Alam and the Community Leaders, such as Ghulam Sarwari, Sabbir Panwaria, IQball Ansari and Hasim Hasim Hakka along with hundreds of Bihar districts.
