The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by the party Bharatiya Janata (BJP) announced the nationwide bandh in Bihar 4 September. The protest will be led by BJP Mahaila Morcha.
Bihar Bandh Timings
President BJP Bihar State Dilip Jaiswal said Bandh would be observed for five hours – from 7:00 to 12:00.
What is open/closed during Bihar Bandh
In order to avoid inconvenience to the public, emergency services such as ambulance, hospital and other basic equipment, they will not be affected during the band.
“Basic services, including standby facilities and rail operations, will remain unaffected during switching off,” the press agency said.
Why did NDA call Bihar Bandh? Why do women lead to protest?
The shutdown was called to protest against the opposition over an abusive language used against the Prime Minister Narendra Modim and his late mother during a joint action in Bihar.
The nationwide bandh is in protest against undesirable comments made by Congress staff against Prime Minister Modim and his mother last week in Darbhang during the voter Adhikar Yatra.
Video Incident has become viral
After the announcement of the leader Janat, Dal (United) Umesh Kushwaha said, “During the opposition rally in Darbhang, he was against the Prime Minister Modim and his mother used abusive words. This is morally and politically bad.”
“The use of such a language is very inappropriate and so far the leaders of Mahagathbandhan have not apologized. It shows how arrogant they are,” he said.
Umesh Kushwah said that the opposition “offended our mothers and sisters, and now we will retaliate. Therefore, NDA demanded the Bihar Bandh and the female wing will organize protests through Bihar.”
How did PM modi react to line

PM Modi, referring to alleged derogatory notes made during the Yatra voter in Bihar and said, “Tapasya poor mothers, the suffering of her son – these young princes can not understand in royal families.”
“These people” Naamdaar “were born with a silver spoon in his mouth. The power of Earth and Bihar seems to be their family inheritance,” PM Modi said.
