The popular reality show Bigg Boss Kannada proceeded to resume after the contestants moved back to the studio on Thursday (October 9, 2025). 12th season of reality show stopped after the Council for Control of Pollution ordered the closure of M/s. VELS Studio and Entertainment Limited is located in the Bidadi industrial area for non -compliance with environmental standards.
The organizers of the show said that the latest development is the result of the intervention of the Deputy Minister of DK Shivakumar, who “ordered a deputy Commissioner in Bengalur South District to raise the seal” in the studio. The Minister’s representative took the social media to inform that “the studio will be given the time to resolve the violation in accordance with the standards set out in Karnataka’s pollution Council.”
After the show was disturbed on October 7, 2025, 17 contestants were moved to the resort for several days. After starting 28 September 2025, Bigg Boss Kannada had 19 competitors on the opening weekend. So far, two competitors have been evicted.
The creators continued to broadcast visual enhances, which were originally modified or maintained as standby mode to maintain the show. On Thursday, the visuals of the competitors were shot and tried to return to their tasks to ensure fresh content for Friday’s episode, the organizers said. They added that the show is coming to restore.

The actor and show host Sudeep thanked Mr. Shivakumar for his support. “I really appreciate the Deputy Chief Minister for the immediate response to my challenge. I also want to thank the authorities concerned for recognition that Bigg Kannada chief was not part of the recent chaos,” the actor (formerly Twitter) said.
