Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday (September 13, 2025) emphasized humanity lessons in songs composed by Bhupen Hazarika, worshiped in Assam as “Sudhakantha” and “Bard of Brahmaputra”.
Modi took part in the 100th anniversary of the birth of late gambling and quoted some lines from music compositions to emphasize the need to build bridges and be compassionate.

“Bhupena sang Maanuhe Maanuhore Baabe, Jodih Okon Nebhaabe (unless one feels for a man who will be?). His songs will mediate the spirit of humanity,” he added that the government has focused on cultural connectivity, except for the rail, road, broadcasting and water interconnection in the last 11 years.
The Prime Minister said he was lucky that he could participate in the 100th anniversary of the birth of late gambling, one of the leading Indian cultural icons whose songs will fire people. “Bhupen Hazarika may not be physically present, but his voice gives people energy,” he said.
Previously, Mr. Modi issued a 3 -centenary and biography anniversary of the late gambling.
He also held a roadshow from the airport to the program of the program in Guwahati Khanapar. He was admitted by Governor Lakshman Pra Piga Acharyou, Chief Minister Himanta Bisw Sarma, Mr. Sarma’s Cabinet, Minister of Department of Sarbanand Sonowal and the highest state officers.
