Guntur SP Satish Kumar, Vice-AP University Vice-Chairman of SV Kota Reddy and others who participated on Friday Bhoomi Puja, in the office of SPS in Guntur.
Bhoomi Puja was carried out on Friday for the construction of a new garies for complaints and a media gallery in the office of the police superintendent (SP) in the Guntur district. The project is sponsored by VIT-AP University within the Social Responsibility initiative (CSR).
The ceremony was attended by a police superintendent, district of Guntur, S. Satish Kumar, along with Vice-AP University, Vice-President of SV Kota Reddy and Jagadish Chandra registrar.
SP expressed gratitude to the management of Vit-AP for their support and stated that new facilities would allow police staff to better serve visitors with complaints and interact with the media in a more communicated way. Mr. Kota Reddy noted that the project reflects the university’s commitment to a community partnership. He also acknowledged the support and encouragement of Chancellor G. Viswanathan and Vice President GV Selvama on receipt of the initiative.
