Senior Actor Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, founder of Biocon Ltd. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, writer du. Saraswathi and former Kriketer Veda Krishnamurt’s wife is one of the six, this year will receive honorary doctorates Maharani Cluster University, Bengaluru. Other recipients are practicing homeopathy BT Rudresh and philanthropist HN USha.
“The university has not kept convening in the last two years. This year, both convocations are held together 3. October,” Manjunatha said. TM, Vice -President (acting), Maharani Cluster University, Bengaluru.
Governor of Karnataka and Chancellor of the University of ThaaWarchand Gehlot will present honorary doctorates to six dignitaries. In convening, 159 gold medals will be awarded to university and postgraduate students and a total of 3,573 students will be received.
Sabiha Bhomi Godwd, former Vice -President of the Karnataka as a female University of Mahadevi, Vijayapura, will deliver an address of convening.
