As a result of NIPAH infections, it appears in Kerala, Public Health Directorate (VAT) and preventive medicine recommended people to monitor symptoms. Especially if someone develops symptoms after traveling to the affected areas in Kerala or on arrival in contact with an infected person, they should immediately visit the nearest government hospital.
People should be aware of symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, confusion, insomnia, shortness of breath or dizziness and seizures, she said.
With cases of NIPah virus infections reported in the districts of Palakkad and Malapuram, the state government monitored the situation and took all preventive measures. Although no case has been recorded in the state, the public is recommended that it panic, remained on the emergency room and adopted basic preventive measures, VAT said in a statement issued on Thursday.

People should avoid eating fruit that is not properly washed or those who have fallen from the trees. They should regularly wash their hands with soap.
It has been said that the district healthcare professionals to carefully monitor measures to prevent diseases, especially in the districts adjacent to Kerala, and all required measures should be taken. Medical teams in such districts should be prepared for timely identification of suspicious cases and take measures.
