The US Embassy in India issued a new warning on India on Saturday, and said that if they violate any law or arrested, they would have “serious consequences” or arrested, which could invite various actions that eligible for future US visas for visa deportation.
“US laws may have serious consequences for your student visa. If you are arrested or violated by any law, your visa may be canceled, you may be deported and you may be unfit for future American visas,” said the US Embassy in India in post X.
The US Embassy also added: “Follow the rules and do not endanger your travel. The US visa is a privilege, not the right.”
In another warning issued a few days ago, the embassy said: “If you stay in the United States outside the authorized period of stay, you could be deported and you could face a permanent ban on traveling to the United States in the future.”
US Visa Application Process New Rules for Indians
Since 1 August this year, US pupil centers are no longer allowed, with the exception of applicants under 18 years of age. However, it should be remembered that scanned or e -mail copies of the letter will not be accepted.

In addition, the US Embassy introduces a new service that allows applicants to have their passports delivered directly to their home or office. This service will cost £1200 on the applicant. There is a significant reduction in the program for giving up the conversation. From September 2, 2025, many candidates will now be required to skip a personal interview before, participating in one at the US Embassy or Consulate. This includes applicants for visas in categories such as H, L, F, M, J, E and O, report messages.

In addition, exceptions from age for personal conversations have been removed, which means that both children under 14 years, and adults over 79 years of age must now participate in interviews. However, some visa categories will still be liberated from this change, including A-1 and A-2 visas, certain visas C-3, G-1 visas on G-4, NATO-1 on NATO-6 and TECRO E-1 visas.
Despite these changes, several things remain the same. Visa fees are still 365 days from the date of payment and meeting planning can still be carried out through the official portal. The list of required documents for visa requests also remains unchanged.
A significant change is the introduction of a visa integrity fee that will come into force on October 1, 2025. This new fee of $ 250 will apply to most visa applications that are not immigrants. The purpose of this fee is to help finance further security screening, increase the integrity of the visa process and compensate administrative costs. Although the fee itself is irreversible, the applicants who follow the visa regulations may be entitled to a refund, even if the money refund process must still be fully outlined.
