The Multi -listened Ejipura Nadravura project met with another failure that forced Bruhat Bengalur Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to re -extend his deadline, this time until June 2026. The previous destination was March 2026.
The main commissioner of BBMP M. Maleshwar Rao said that delay in land acquisition and slowing the construction of the construction caused the civic body to enforce the deadline.
At the beginning of this month, a small crack in the panic structure caused BBMP to bind to the professor of the Indian Institute of Science to assess this problem. Mr. Rao confirmed that the report had not found any major shortcomings and excluded any structural weakness.
“At the launch of the carrier, there was a minor problem that led to the crack. I will perform more tests and repair it with extra reinforcement,” he explained.
When Mr. Rao turned to other projects, he said that white work on JC Road is currently underway and should be completed within the next 20 to 25 days. However, the complete completion of the section and its re -opening for full operation will take several months according to another source.
Reduced operation
Mr. Rao revealed that the transport overload at the Hebbal overpass and the Silk Board junction relaxed after the opening of a new loop in Hebbal and the start of the yellow metro line. He added that as soon as another loop is completed, the transport flow flow is expected to further improve.
