
The Bengaluru vlogger made sure to split her monthly expenses, which went up to Rs 1.02 lakh. The 21-year-old detailed expenses such as rent, groceries and gym memberships, revealing the cost of living in India’s IT hub. In the viral video, which has over 1.5 million views, she shared her January expenses and gave an insight into her lifestyle.
Let’s take a look at her monthly expenses. A vlogger named Monsy can be heard saying: “I’m 21 years old and I live in Bangalore. For context, I’m a full-time creator and I live alone. So these prices are totally per person. My rent is ₹22,000 for two BHK and with this I totally hit the jackpot. The electricity bill is around ₹700. Subscriptions, gym memberships, mobile bills around ₹3000. I invest in SIPs every month and that’s it ₹30,000.”

Turning to variable costs, she said: “The food is from Zepto and the local shop, which is ₹4,500. Basic necessities like shampoo, makeup from Amazon, approx ₹4,000. Ordering food on Swiggy is ₹2,117…”
She added: “Shopping and gifts were a bit higher this month as I had to shop for two trips which was around ₹25,000.” She also bought a new phone this month ₹1.3 lakh but she did not include it in her monthly expenses.
At the end of the video, she said, “So the total is around 1.2 million because I’m sure I must have missed a ton of (something) there. Just for the record, last month was definitely on the higher side. I try to keep my spending around 70 to 80,000 max.”
In the comment, she revealed that she has “multiple sources of income” aside from being a full-time content creator to fund her expenses. He has been in this field for the past three years.
It finances its expenses from 5 sources of income. In another video, she said that brand deals are her primary source of income, followed by UGC offers, mentoring sessions, digital products and ticketing income through commission-based agency collaborations. In the month of December, her income fluctuated ₹7 lakhs.
