The day after the start of his investigation on StamPede, which occurred during the winning event of Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB), Bengalur Urban deputy Commissioner (DC) G. Jagadeesha recorded a statement about the dose of people who were on June 4 during the incident.
Some of the victims arrived with belts or throw on the body parts to participate in a question, along with their family members. Rahul, Monish Gowda, Rajesh Mg and Syed Abu Jaffer were some of the victims who arrived at the investigation.
“I fell near the gate of the 21 M. Chinnaswama stadium when they announced that there were free tickets. At first I was not aware of mortality and later, around 17:20, my father called about it and informed me about it.
He said, “DC asked which it was a mistake. I informed him that when the police tried to make a trip for the RCB bus, the crowd was pushing and that’s what led to the incident.”
The deputy commissioner convened 45 victims of the incident along with other parties involved, including the Royal Challengers Bengalur, DNA representatives, the Carnataka Association State Management Society.
June 5, the day after the tragedy occurred, Mr. Jagadeesha visited the stadium as part of his probe. He also looked at the places where the stamps occurred. He said the investigation would be completed in 15 days.
Mr. Jagadeesha was appointed investigative officer on June 4. He was instructed to provide a message that describes in detail the sequence of events and slumps that occurred, leading to StamPede, which claimed 11 lives while injured several others.
