
The Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddharamaiah said on Saturday that the government did not organize the RCB event, which killed 11 people in the impact, because after a deadly event last week continues to face criticism.

He said that the State Cricket Association informed him that the governor would also be present at the RCB event and denied any involvement in the organization of the event.
“They also informed me that the governor was also coming, I only went there. I know nothing, except that I only went there after I was invited, did not invite me to the stadium,” he said.
Karnataka CM further claimed that the police did not provide comprehensive information about the security agreement.
“The police department did not provide comprehensive information on police security measures at the venue.”

Siddaramaiah accused BJP and JDS for “politically motivated statements” said she was not informed about StamPede almost two hours after the incident occurred.
“Although the injuries were admitted to the hospital at 15:50, I got information at 17:45 that there were death near the stadium and people died,” he said.
“Stampede should not happen. It’s very sad,” Cm said.

At the beginning of June 6, Siddaramaiah defended and accused the BJP of the politicization of the deadly stadium Bengalur Minnaswama, which claimed 11 lives.
CM said the government had taken steps against those who were responsible and added that it was “not doing politics”.

“They (BJP) do this for politics. I’m not doing politics. We have taken measures against those who were visibly responsible and found that they were in their duty negligence,” Siddarahaiah said.
The President of Karnataka BJP accused the state government only of negotiations only when pressure was exerted on them.
“The state government acted only after it came under pressure … measures against RCB and Karnataka cricket association were taken. Yesterday, the main minister suddenly suspended higher police officers, including the Municipal Police Commissioner Bengalur and five other officials,” Vijayendra said.
