In its petition, RCSL also stated that even for free cards, preliminary registration was mandatory for entry and claimed that the gates of the stadium, which were to be opened at 13:45, were actually opened at 3 pm, causing the crowd overvoltage, PTI said.
According to an event management company, there was an incident due to the failure of the crowd management.
Cm siddaramaiah denies a reference to the stadium
The Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah expressed his sorrow over Stampede in front of the Chinnaswama stadium in Bengalur and said that the incident should not occur. He also explained that “he had no connection with the cricket stadium”.
