
The shocking incident of robbery appeared in Bengaluru where the driver was arrested for alleged escape £1.5 crore in cash that his employer asked him to hold in the car.
The defendant, identified as 45 -year -old Rajesh Bn, has been via -northern in the northern Bengalur, has worked as a driver for a 46 -year -old authorized accountant residing in Kodandaramapo for the past 10 years.
The incident occurred on May 5, when Chartered Accountant handed the Rajesh bag containing £1.51 crore and asked him to place him in his car. When Ca came down, neither the driver nor the car could be found.
“The police arrested the accused driver who was employed by the complainant for almost ten years,” police Commissioner B Dayanand said at a press conference.
He also said that the entire amount was obtained from the defendant’s residence near the TTD temple along with the two -round wheels used in theft.

“I quickly went to my office and found a parked car there. When I called Rajesh, he said he was buying a medicine in the store and returning in 10 minutes,” the complainant told the police, according to Deccan Herald.
“However, he did not return and did not communicate after it,” he added.
After the complaint of an authorized accounting police, Rajesh watched and issued a notice. He appeared before the police on May 9 and confessed to crime.
He was then taken into custody.
During the investigation of Rajesh revealed to spend £1 Lakh in various purchases for his family and also donated thousands of rupees in the temple.
According to the police, the donated amount cannot be recovered.
In a separate incident, the police said that another robbery case was resolved, in which a foreign national of African origin was robbed of cash, passport, documents and two -wheel.
“The police arrested two individuals from the locality and gained all the valuables, including the stolen two -round wheel and another motorcycle used in a crime,” Commissioner Dayanand said.
Urgent on people to stay vigilant, Dayanand added: “People should verify the background of workers before their involvement or employment.”
