
The 25 -year -old woman was reportedly harassed and attacked by a group of four “intoxicated” men in Bengalur when she bought food.
The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday around 17:00 on the outskirts of Bengalur in the layout of Yellamma near the Melasandra road in Anecal Taluk.
According to a woman’s complaint, men touched her inappropriately, and when she resisted, they began to use a vulgar and obscene language against her and physically attacked it.
She said she also hit one of the men in self -defense and informed her coach in the gym about the incident, who also hit one of the accused and saved her from the place.

In a police complaint, the woman claimed that she was going to the store to buy some essentials when she noticed a group of men who fought with each other. Suddenly they began to tease and abuse her. She also claimed that she had inappropriately touched her despite her resistance.
The woman also claimed that when she tried to resist, they used a vulgar and obscene tongue against her and physically attacked it. She reportedly hit one of them in self -defense.
“When I resisted, they hit me. One of them came back back with my feet in defense,” she said.
The woman said the accused lives behind her house, but she doesn’t know them because she “lived here for a week”.
According to the police, the woman informed her coach in the gym about the incident he arrived at the place, saved her and allegedly hit one of the accused, who was wrong with her.
A video of the alleged incident emerged online. Livemint, however, could not independently verify this.
One arrested
Police Bengalur said on Monday that one of the accused was arrested. On the basis of his anti -altitude, however, another case of attack against the woman and coach in the gym was registered.
But the woman claimed that one of the accused had suffered injuries by hitting the gate. “The boy who hit me is now in the hospital. He hurt the gate and handed us a case,” she said.
“All efforts are developing to charge the remaining accused in this case,” the policeman said.

On the basis of a woman’s complaint, the police registered the Bengalur case with the case of harassment and included sections 74 (assault or criminal forces to the woman with the intention of outraging her modesty), 351 (criminal intimidation), 352 (punishment or criminal punishment) and 126.
