An entrepreneur based in Bengalur alerted extensive attention to social media after leaving his highly paid roles in the United States to return home and take care of the aging population of India.
Why did he return to India?
Zavneeth Ramprasad, who once worked in Global Tech Giants Netflix and Facebook, decided to go back to India after becoming the concern of his parents’ health. “Great teams. Great Comp. Great CV. But none of this helped when my parents fought with diabetes, joint pain and weakness for surgery and had no structured health care system to really improve,” LinkedIn explained.
What is his startup about?
Ramprasad continued to start the Praan Health in 2024 and described it as a “family platform of health”, which supports older people in the management of chronic conditions. According to him, this service has already improved the lives of more than 1,000 seniors dealing with problems, from diabetes to recovery to cancer.
Described this business as a mission rather than a job and wrote, “This is not a job. This is my fuel. And we are just starting.”

Who is Netneth Ramrasad?
