The 26 -year -old woman was reportedly executed by her husband after a violent quarrel late on Friday evening in Chandapora in Anecal Taluk. Then the accused allegedly went to the police station with her interrupted head on the scooter and gave up.
The victim, identified as Manasa, Her Her Resident, was reportedly killed as Shankar, 26, after a domestic dispute.
According to the police, a couple was married for more than five years and raised a three -year -old daughter while he lived in a rented house in the city.
Around 23:30 on Saturday, Shankar arrived in the blood -soaked clothes and cut off his wife’s head placed on his feet, arrived at the Surya Nagar police station and gave up. He was immediately taken into custody and the case of the murder was registered in the early Saturday hours, the officials said.
The police said the accused had confessed to a crime during preliminary interrogation. Shankar reportedly said he suspected that Manasa had an extramarital affair. “This doubt led to a frequent struggle between them. Manasa recently moved to a paid guest facility, but returned in the hope that she would accept her child,” the police said.
