Around eleven coaches SMVT Bengaluru-Kamakhya AC Express on Sunday derailed in Nirgundi near Manguli in Odish’s Cuttack district, quoted an official.
According to the Chief Public Relations (CPRO) railway officer on the east coast of Ashok Kumar Misra, the incident has been held around 11.54 hours and has not yet been reported to any injury or victim.
“We have mobilized our resources and informed the NDRF and fire services. The auxiliary train was sent to the place,” Misra said.
“Our officers and support workers have also reached the place,” he said.
He also added that the auxiliary lines were launched – 8455885999 and 8991124238 – and the necessary measures were taken to send stuck passengers to their destinations.
