
On Wednesday, the Karnataka government organized a civic reception in honor of the IPL 2025 champions, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), in Vishan Juděh. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Felilitated Virata Kohli and his teammates with traditional Mysore Petas and Garlands made of cardamom, at the symbolic celebration of the first title of the IPL team.
Vidhana Juděh, the seat of the State Legislative Corps, served as a large background for this occasion. However, the festivities were cured by tragedy. Later in the evening, at least seven people were killed in front of the M. Chinnaswama stadium when massive crowds gathered to celebrate the historical victory of RCB.
Despite the developing crisis, the ceremony of felicitation at the stadium continued, where the players were honored for their victory over the title of Kings Pandjab on Tuesday’s finals. When the fans put their place in a huge issue, the inadequate crowd administration led to chaos outside, resulting in a deadly crush.
Previously, the RCB group returned to Bengalur to welcome the hero. Thousands of fans lined the way from the airport to the stadium. Representative of the main Minister DK Shivakumar received the team before they approached the judgment at the official reception.
