Main Minister Siddaramaiah, while announcing a larger area of Bengalur on Thursday, said there would be at least three corporations in Bengalur.
The Act on Administration of Public Bengalur, 2024, which came into force from May 15 on Thursday, provides one to seven municipal corporations, each of which has up to 150 departments. Siddaramaiaha has now indicated that the current civic limits are likely to be divided into three corporations.
