Mamata urges PM modi to strengthen Amit Shah
On Wednesday, Mamata Banerjee described the recent municipal violence in Murshidabad as “pre -planned” and accused part of the BSF, the central agency under MHA and BJP of fanning tension by allegedly facilitated the cross -border influx of Bangladesh.
Mamata Baerjee focused on meeting Muslim religious leaders and called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to perform the “cruel” WAQF Act, warning that he would divide the country and ask him to consolidate the Minister of House Amor Shaha, accused of “a harmful nation for his own political agenda”.
TMC Supremo argued that despite the unstable situation in the neighboring Bangladesh, the center threw itself through the WAQF Act (amendment) and allowed illegal cross -border infiltration, which, as she claimed, contributed to the unrest in Bengal.
Banerjee claimed that part of the BSF and some central agencies under the Ministry of the Interior played “a role in facilitating violence” and ordered the probe to the role of the border guard.
“I came across reports that claimed that the role of elements from the whole border in Murshidabad’s riots. It is not the role of BSF to protect the border? BSF is under the Ministry of the Interior (MHA).
