Benefits of ‘Jivamritu’ highlighted at farmers workshop in Tirupati

Subhash Palekar, Zero Budget Natural Farming activist, said ‘Jivamrit’ (Jeevamrutham) is a powerful organic fertilizer while addressing farmers during the third day of a national workshop organized at Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) in Tirupati on Saturday.

Explaining the science behind Jivamrit and its quantity, he said it was a microbial booster developed for Subhash Palekar Krushi (SPK). It acts as an “elixir of life for plants” and introduces beneficial microorganisms into the soil that break down nutrients and make them readily available, Mr. Palekar claimed.

He also revealed the history of SPK, the hardships associated with its creation and the gradual preparation of individual layers with scientific reasons. He claimed that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was promoting and supporting his research and providing funding.
