
City Corporation of Belagavi will set up stray dogs in the village of Bagewadi in the Belagavi district.
After recent court orders, the city local authority will set up an animal contraceptive and a shelter to save animals in the village of rent Bagewadi.
For this purpose, the district administration approved two City Corporation soil acres.
The country was previously earmarked for the disposal of medical waste. But the country remained unused.
Based on the recommendations of the Municipal Commissioner B. Shaubha, the deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan issued an order to re -allocate.
The current control center for animal contraception and shelter is in Srinagar, Belagavi City.
However, City Corporation was looking for another ground for expanding the facility, the officials said.
Mayor Mangesh Pawar said that the new center will be equipped with the latest surgical equipment and other facilities.
