Beiranvand wall helps Iran secure vital point against 10-man Belgium

The match at the Los Angeles Stadium may have started with Iran’s players booing during the national anthem, but it ended with the Asian giants ringing the bell around the arena as they held Belgium to a 0-0 draw with ten men. Iran had their goalkeeper Alirez Beiranvand to thank as he produced some sensational saves to keep Belgium at bay.

This further improved Iran’s chances of reaching the knockout stages. Belgium had to rue their poor decision-making in the penalty area as they had the most shots and possession but were unable to make an impact.
