The five -day annual Bhagavatha Melattur had Natya Natak Mahotsavam on Sunday in Mellatura near Sunday.
The Bhagavatha festival was organized by the Devasthanama Palace.
Revithi Ramacandran, former director of the Kalakshertra Foundation, Chennai, Kv Satyanarayana, Dancer and NV Devi Prasad, former director Madraskrit College Shri Nappuswamy Auditorium, Sri Lakshmi Nrusimha Swamy, Melatur.
In order to preserve this ancient art form and for the benefit of future generations, Melattur Bhagavath released Guru Kalaimamani R. Mahalingam eight out of 10 games accepted by the Great Sri Venkatar Sastri. This year, according to an official edition, a book about “Rukmini Kalyanamu” was released.
