The Tamil poet and lyricist VairaMuth emphasized the importance of Trukkural on Friday and urged the youth to be disciplined and not dependent on alcohol and drugs.
He spoke to the event organized by Vetri Tamilar Peravai in Madurai. The meeting was held with the appointment of members of the Board of Directors and other members of the Tamil Forum.
The main objective of the forum is to spread the awareness of Trukkurural, especially among students and children, and motivate them to follow the principles and path that work shows to create a better world.
As part of the programs of raising awareness, Trukkural will learn as part of value education and the competition will be held for students.
The following persons were appointed at the event: J. Suresh (President Madurai), Abinath Chandran (Secretary), Bala Ramalingam (coordinator), Patanjali Saravanan (Treasurer) and Sujath Gupthan (Madurai Women’s Head). Honorary members are psychiatrist C. Ramasubramanian and CEOA a group of founders of Raja Climax institutions.
