US President Donald Trump told the Americans on Wednesday to stay “cool” despite the intensive trade war that created a panic on the global market.
Trump’s note came in the middle of China and the European Union announcing retaliation tariffs.
“Be cool! Everything will work well. The US will be bigger and better than ever!” Trump published the truth on his social platform.
In the next post, Trump tried to convince investors that “It’s a great time to buy !!!”
At the beginning of the day, China intervened back to Trump’s tariffs for Chinese exports with 84 % of the fees for its import from America.
The hike in fees, from 34 percent, came after Trump’s explosive new tariffs to 60 countries, of which 104 percent in China, came into force after midnight on Wednesday in the US.
In addition, China has added six US companies to its unreliable list of entities, the Ministry of Trade of the Earth on Wednesday announced.
The EU also hit back and focused on more than 20 billion euros of US goods.
The 27-Country block, which has been accused of being created for “screwing” of the United States, will hit more than 20 billion euros in American products, including soybeans, motorcycles and cosmetic products.
“These countermeasures can be suspended at any time if the US agrees with a fair and balanced negotiation outcome,” the European Commission said after the EU Member States approved measures.
Meanwhile, US Minister of Finance Scott Bessnt said that the Chinese step to store 84% of retaliatory tariffs against the United States is unfortunate and loses a proposal for Beijing.
“I think it is unfortunate that the Chinese do not really want to come and negotiate because they are the worst perpetrators in international trading,” Bessen said in an interview with Fox Business Network.
Bessnt said that the Allies wanted to discuss how to re -balance Chinese business policies in interviews with American officials.
“This is a big victory. The US is trying to balance more to produce. China must again balance more consumption,” he added.
