The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has written an official email to Asian Cricket Council chief Mohsin Naqvi, telling him to hand over the Asia Cup trophy back to India on Tuesday 21 October. Speaking exclusively to India Today, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia said that they have written to the ACC to give the title to the champions.
Saikia said they are waiting for a response from Naqvi and if there is nothing from his side, he will refer the matter to ICC through an official mail. The BCCI secretary said that they are going step by step with the process and will follow up on the matter.
