
The Board of Trustees in India (BCCI) created a three -member panel that created safety instructions for celebrations after the match, after a tragic death outside the M Chinnaswamy Bengalur Stadium, which claimed 11 lives. The incident occurred on June 4, when a stunning crowd gathered to celebrate the victory in Maiden IPL title Bengalur Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
The Committee was led by Secretary of BCCI Devayit Saikia with Vice President Rajeev Shukl and Treasurer Prabhtej Singh Bhatia, the committee was to rework the standards within 15 days. The decision was made during the recent meeting of the Board of Council of the Board of Directors.

“With regard to the incident, which occurred during the celebrations in Bengalur, the Apex Council decided to consider a committee that formulates comprehensive instructions aimed at preventing such events in the future,” Bcci read.
Celebrations, a hastily organized day after the final, attracted the estimated two fans of Lakh despite the limited capacity of the stadium. Although the show from Vishan Judhan was eventually canceled, the fans had already flooded the area, led to chaos and deadly deaths. The event continued despite the warnings of the traffic police and no formal permits, attracting sharp criticism towards RCB, their partners of events and the State Cricket Association of Karnataka.
The consequences were arrested, including the RCB marketing manager and two DNA entertainment officials. The secretary and treasurer of KSCA also resigned and took up moral responsibility. Since then, the state government has held RCB and BCCi responsible and quoted the release in the planning and administration of the crowd.
