Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) canceled the appointment of 72 guest teachers/lecturers, including 35, who do not have prescribed qualifications and 37 BBMP schools and universities in front of the universities that had less than 50% of the 10 and II PUCs. BBMP, which issued an order on August 22, also temporarily detained their reward.
BBMP schools recorded 55.78% of the results of the class 10 and the PU universities recorded 68.88% of the II PUC test this year. Then the educational records of all teachers and lecturers in these institutions – of which 804 – were reviewed by BBMP headquarters.
The review found that 35 guest teachers/lecturers without prescribed qualifications were named in June 2025. However, the review found that even the engineering postgraduate study (Be, M.Tech) was appointed to teach economics and business subjects for PU students. Many of them did not have the title of bed. BBMP has now canceled these meetings.
In addition, the appointment of 37 members of the faculty who worked in BBMP schools and universities that achieved less than 50% in PUC 10 and II exams have been permanently abolished over the last three years.
M.Maheshwar Rao, the chief commissioner of BBMP, said: “This step followed by a decline in SSLC and II PUC, who has in many schools and universities in three years, said they would soon be carried out in three years.”
The guest faculties are against the turn
“Most guest faculties have been released for more than 10 years in schools and BBMPs. More than 80% of the Faculty of Education in these institutions were visiting teachers and not permanent. Somaskekar, a treasurer for the Association of BBMP Officers and Employees and demanded an immediate return of the turn.
