Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) launched extensive cleanliness and persecution of over six city zones on Friday.
According to the directions of the Main Commissioner BBMP M. Maheshwar Rao, the campaign, it has coordinated with Bengaluru Limited Waste (BSWML), aims to improve hygiene and restore pedestrian space across large sections.
The zonal and common commissioners, along with the main engineers, supervised operations that have been deployed by heavy vehicles, tractors and cleaning workers.
In the eastern zone, damaged plates were replaced, garbage cleaned and the prevention branches of the trees were removed along the 4.4 km section from the intersection of Anelylya to the residential road. Incroachments pedestrian trails were also cleaned on the main road Kammanahalli and Subbaiyanapalya.
In the western zone, BBMP has taken cleaning operations in the industrial farm, Nandini Layout and Jagajeevanram Nagar of Rajajinagar and Malleswaam and removed obstacles on several roads.
In the southern zone, Pushcarts and name tags saw removed from the sidewalks in Deepanjali Nagar and near Lake Kempambudhi, while the Yelahanka zone were carried out and the copta was carried out on the basis of plastic use and plastic disruption.
In the KENGERI bus booth in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, mass cleaning was carried out and the seedlings were planted near the Kengeri lake. In Bommanahall, the Mico Layout, Begur was cleaned by road waste.
